Yoga active
In my Yoga active classes, the focus lies on strengthening, partly dynamic, sequences, while practicing in the rhythm of the breath.
We do different sun salutations, backbends follow forward folds and twists, side bends, standing and
balancing postures alternate.
Breathing exercises and meditations are also part of the classes. The entire body is strengthened, tensions can be released, the breath and the mind get quiet. Physical and mental wellbeing is the result, which in turn has a positive effect on our mood.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga is a soft and slow form of yoga. Even if it contains some soft flowing elements, it is not practiced dynamically. We practice all sorts of yoga postures, adapted to the level of the participants, with the breath being the central guideline.
Systematically composed yoga series provide a strengthening, mobilising and relaxing yoga program, which nourishes body and mind. Breathing exercises and meditations are also part of the classes. Gentle Yoga is suitable for beginners, for elderly people and/or if you have physical restraints or limitations with regards to certain movements.

YinYang Yoga
YinYang Yoga is a wonderful blend of active, dynamic yoga and quiet, meditative Yin Yoga. Yin and Yang are terms from the Chinese philosophy and describe opposing and complementary principles. The yin shown in black, symbolises a receiving, passive energy, while the yang shown in white stands for activity and energy. In the interplay of these two principles, life unfolds in all of its constantly changing
phenomena. Together, yin and yang are one; one could not exist without the other. This principle is transferred into our yoga practice and thus we create balance and harmony between activity and rest, between tension and relaxation, between doing and being in body and mind.

Yoga for a healthy back
Yoga for a healthy back. Many people suffer from back pain and one of the main reasons for this often is a lack of exercise and the fact that we sit (too) much. Stress might also be an intensifying factor for problems in our back, since stress usually tightens the muscles in the neck, shoulders and our back. Clotted and thickened fascia - especially in the lumbar region - can also be a cause of back pain. Often, the pain becomes chronic, irrespective our age. Yoga for the back mobilizes our spine, strengthens the core and back muscles, relaxes the neck and shoulders and helps to reduce stress.
Gentle dynamic sequences aim at our fasciae as these need movement in order to remain elastic or to become fluid again.
The whole practice is strengthening and, at the same time, not straining our back. Through breathing exercises and meditations, we relax mentally, which in turn has a positive effect on our vagal tone. Yoga for a healthy back thus prevents pain in the neck, shoulders and back and is simply a joy for our whole being.

Chair Yoga
Yoga on the chair offers yoga to people for whom it might be difficult to practice yoga on a mat.
Also when practicing chair yoga, we work with gentle sequences, moving our whole body. We practice simple standing and balancing positions with the help of a chair or the wall.
Strengthening exercises aim at our core, the whole spine gets mobilised.
Calming breathing exercises and meditations are also part of the classes. Each position builds on the previous one and the breath is central.
This course is currently not part of my schedule. However, if you are interested, please get in in touch.

The setup of a business yoga class is always based on the conditions of the workplace and the needs of the respective employees.
